Highlights
Task 1
Filling data on a freelance platform
The task was to design a form for the desktop web application, which collects professional information about freelancers.
Main feature of this design is quickness and simplicity.
Task 2
Table of employees for IT company
Functions that the table should perform:
  • Delete the profile of one or several employees at once
  • Edit the profile of several employees at once
  • Edit data of employee
  • Change the employment status of one or several employees at once
  • Share a link to the profile of one or several employees at once
  • Search for employees by name, last name, ID and position
  • Sort the list of employees
  • Contact one or several employee by skype, e-mail or phone
Task 3
Landing page DSS 2020
The task was to design a landing page for DesignSpot School, with the following functionality:
  • basic info about school;
  • registration on the first stage.
The target audience of this landing page is young people under 35 years old who want to gain or increase the knowledge in UX design.
Task 4
Responsive / Adaptive Design
For this landing, I used an adaptive layout type with 4 breakpoints:
  • 1360 — and more
  • 768 — 1359px
  • 540 — 767px
  • 360 — 539px
I started from the smallest phone size - 360px. I increased the width by about 1.5 times, since with such an increase the content on the page is displayed correctly.
Therefore, the next breakpoint is 540 px.
I rounded the next size (540 * 1.5 = 810px) to the popular tablet screen resolution of 768px.
And the last point is 1360px: the size of the desktop landing.
Task 5
Dashboard
The task was to design to dashboard of scooter ranting application that provides key product information for CEO or marketers to make strategic decisions about developing and setting up advertising campaigns.
  • To engage more users (promotions, discounts).
  • To provide the scooters for users in “hot” spots and “hot” time.
Task 6
Mobile application in Material design and HIG
The task was to design a mobile application for recognition meal by photo. The application should be able to count calories, proteins, fats, carbohydrates. Material design and HIG should be used.

User Scenario
Sitting at home on self-isolation, Laura got bored and she decided to start counting calories and at the same time learn more about the nutritional value of various products. Therefore, she remembered the application that a friend had already mentioned to her for a long time, and began to take pictures of each of her dishes before eating.
At the same time, she studied each product from the composition of the dish and looked for interesting recipes based on the products that she had in the fridge. An interesting fact was to find out the required number of calories per day just for her and look at the statistics about her diet.
